It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited about a new album. My good friend Tyler let me get a sneak listen to Have You Seen My Prefrontal Cortext? from his band A Great Big Pile of Leaves (AGBPOL). It’s a stellar album, especially if you dig the likes of Nightmare of You, Brand New, The National, and a bit of fun.’s kookiness. I’ll have a more comprehensive review up next week, but we’re two weeks out from the release date on June 22nd, so I wanted to post about their awesome pre-sale. They are selling their album for FIVE BUCKS here and also selling a sweet package of t-shirt, album, and lunchbox. Yeah, a lunchbox.

I’ve been playing this album repeatedly for the past week. I’m still trying to perfect all the “oh oh ohs” throughout some of the songs so next time I see them live I can keep up.
